This is the heart-wrenching story of 13-year-old Jamlo who was compelled to walk home during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown from the chilli fields of Telangana, where she picked chillies for a living, to Chhattisgarh. The story exposes stark inequalities rampant in our society and enables the reader to see the disparity.
