सबसे अलग लगने वाली यह कविता नीम से एक प्यारी दोस्ताना बातचीत है। इस कविता का अंदाज और बिम्ब, दोनों ही इसे अनूठी बना देते हैं। गीली धूप, पश्मीना फूल, और शोख़ी डाल सरीखे पद, देखने का अंदाज ही बदल देते हैं। यह कविता नीम के पूरे पेड़ की कविता है। नीम के फूल, डाल, पत्ते, निंबोली और छाया तक के बारे में एक साथ। नीम को इतने प्यार और अपनेपन से कम देखा गया होगा। भाषा इतनी आसान कि कविता तुरंत कंठस्थ हो जाती है| चित्रों के रंग नीम के शरीर के हर रंग तथा स्वभाव को जीवंत कर देते हैं।
