A day at Parag’s office could mean anything. It could mean spending a good part of the day reading story books and exchanging reviews! Or brainstorming about a new project. It could also mean writing reports and case studies. Or field visits to our work sites and engaging directly with stakeholders – children, librarians, teachers, illustrators, authors & publishers among others. Most of us find joy in the work we do. “The bulk of my work was around planning and conducting storytelling sessions in various organisations, creating opportunities to increase the users on Kitablet App, collating and analysing Kitablet user data, working in collaboration with different stakeholders in education and a few schools in Delhi and NCR, reading a LOT OF BOOKS … In my rather short experience of the working world I can say that the working environment at Parag Initiative is by far the best I have encountered.”
“Working for ‘Parag Initiative’ has been a humbling and enriching experience. Through the project, I understood the significance of library as the cornerstone of learning and overall development of children. On the personal level, I have benefitted and learnt significantly from interacting with children and community that Parag work for. Overall, this was one of the most fulfilling endeavour that I have been part of.”
